During 2009, Richard Huloet's Abecedarium Anglico Latinum (1552), with a total of 25,696 word entries, was added to the database; and Antonio del Corro's The Spanish Grammar (1590) and William Stepney's The Spanish School-master (1591) were analyzed.

During 2008, six fully analysed lexicons were added to the database, containing a total of 24787 word entries.

During 2007, six fully analysed lexicons were added to the database, containing a total of 138932 word entries.

During the 2006-07 academic year, entries for about 150 lexical works were added to the bibliographical index.

The Lexicons of Early Modern English website was launched on April 12, 2006, and celebrated at a reception held on September 19, and hosted by the University of Toronto Press and the University of Toronto Libraries at the Fisher Rare Book Library.
