MOtherworte is hote in the seconde degree & drie in the first. It doeth heate and extenuate, it is good to make incessions in the decoction thereof to prouoke secretes. It is also good againste the stone and suppression of vrine. And finally, this herbe doeth chiefly help womennes diseases. (37r)
